In 80’s, it was possible to find fake watches in flea markets or "under the coat”. Now with the e-commerce on the Internet, you can find the watch (brand and model) of your choice. Regarding the quality, today counterfeits have nothing to compare to what was prouced 20 years ago. I have closely followed the evolution of this fraudulent counterfeiting market over the past five years and I think that it is worth the effort to spread on the subject. The trend goes fast, and the second hand market or the so-called "generic" (aftermarket parts for the original watches – very often of good quality) has developed new technologies to reach, very closely, the perfection in term of counterfeiting.
