THE BOOK
In 80’s, it was possible to find fake watches in flea markets or "under the coat”. Now with the e-commerce on the Internet, you can find the watch (brand and model) of your choice. Regarding the quality, today counterfeits have nothing to compare to what was prouced 20 years ago. I have closely followed the evolution of this fraudulent counterfeiting market over the past five years and I think that it is worth the effort to spread on the subject. The trend goes fast, and the second hand market or the so-called "generic" (aftermarket parts for the original watches – very often of good quality) has developed new technologies to reach, very closely, the perfection in term of counterfeiting.
In my book, I want you to take advantage of my experience and give you effective tools to train your eye in the assessment and identification of a watch. It will help you a lot, and you will be able to use it at any time to make comparisons. Whether you are a professional or an individual, this book is necessary and will help you to buy your watches. Learn on how to identify a counterfeit watch, is it a Rolex, Panerai, Cartier or any other mark, is first of all knowing the original one.
You will essentially find in the “reference manual on counterfeit watches” models from the Rolex brand and models of other brands such as Cartier, Bulgari, Breitling, Chopard, Audemars Piguet, A. Lange & Söhne, Interntational Wristwatches Company (IWC), Corum and Panerai.
The main points of each model of each brand are discussed in this book and will enable you to easily familiarize yourself with the different references, and even to be able to identify a fake at first sight, without even touching it...
